“Retinoids are still the most highly recommended by dermatologists since it’s the only ingredient proven without a doubt to improve the cellular function of aged and photodamaged skin.” (1) I have used retinol cream before and jumped at the chance to try Oz Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum. This product contains 2.5% retinol and a huge list of great ingredients. I smiled when I read this label. Then I took it out of the box and put some on…there’s no time to waste with Retinols!! After several days of use I noticed a dramatic change in dark spots from breakout and an overall better appearance to my face. Made in the USA and committed to using quality active organic ingredients, I think you’ll want to try Oz Naturals too!

Ingredients include: Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), HamamelisVirginiana (Witch Hazel), Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Organic SimmondsiaChinensis (Jojoba Oil), TriticumVulgare (Wheat Germ Oil), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), WildcraftedResinaPropoli (Propolis), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

The product instructions include to Cleanse, Exfoliate and Pat skin dry. Next, apply a small amount to face and neck, followed by a daily sunscreen. Like all Retinols, this increases sensitivity to sunlight. A serum like this, unlike a lotion or cream, is not designed to moisturize. It’s a delivery system for powerful ingredients to improve skin at a cellular level. I wear it underneath a moisturizer with sunscreen during the day or my night time face lotion at night. The consistency is a little thinner then honey and orange color surprised me, but it doesn’t make my face look orange. The serum absorbs and goes on very smoothly. I used it for 5 days before noticing any irritation, and I have definitely have sensitive skin…so that’s great! The instructions say that it can be used daily, but I plan on using this 3x/week and alternating days so I get maximum results without an itchy face.

When the product arrived I noticed that it leaked out from underneath this black screw-on lid. I have e-mailed the company and they responded reporting that the wrong lids were on the bottles and they are working to fix the issue. Oz Natural’s packaging reports a 100% satisfaction Guarantee! So if you encounter a problem contact them. I would recommend this to friends and family and would definitely re-order this product. The price is unbeatable for the quality!

I look forward to long term results from this product and a long and happy skin care relationship. You can find Oz Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum on Amazon at a great price!
