I will admit that when I first saw Amber Teething Necklaces I was very confused. I wondered how chewing on something so small could help teething. As it would turn out…these necklaces aren’t for chewing on at all! Many believe that amber has pain relieving properties that make teething easier for babies and toddlers. Moms claim it relieves discomfort from colic and teething, reduces drooling and is anti-inflammatory. Does it really work? If it doesn’t, at least it’s adorable! Holistic nonsense? It’s definitely worth a try, and with all the warnings and side effects of over the counter medications like tylenol and ibuprofen, I’m certainly willing to test it out.
This Born Wild Baltic Amber Teething Necklace has baltic amber straight from Lithuania. The company guarantees authenticity and your happiness with the product. It’s baby/toddler sized and can be worn as a short necklace, or wrapped a few times as an anklet.

The Born Free Baltic Amber Teething Necklace is knotted between each bead to ensure safety and has a screw clasp that threads easily for closure. My son has pulled on this a bit and it hasn’t come undone. I make sure to remove it before bed and keep it stored in the bag it arrived in for safety. I also make sure he’s only wearing it when I’m supervising him because hey, it’s around his neck!
So how do you know this Amber is real? You can read this article and test it out for yourself, or you can take the company’s word that it’s certified and authentic. Ours certainly is beautiful and I have no reason to suspect it’s anything but authentic. However, I have read some stories about Moms going to extreme lengths to verify theirs is genuine and might test for fun down the road.
Necklaces are about 12.5 inches or 32 cm in Length and have a really beautiful variation in color between each bead. It should be cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth or in spring water, no detergents or chemicals should be used. Air drying is recommended. I’ll keep you updated as we continue to test this out, and here’s hoping it helps with teething!
