Rumparooz OS Pocket Diaper Tokidoki Collaboration
Disclosure; This is not a sponsored post. I did receive a product sample to facilitate my review however the opinions here are my own.
Tokidoki is a hot print! This Japanese inspired phenomenon was created by artist Simone Legno with his partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnoldin 2003…and it’s huge. You can get this artist created print in clothing, diaper bags, a Lillebaby carrier, a Clek carseat, a barbie doll…and now a Rumparooz OS Pocket Diaper! This never been done before collaboration has resulted in one of the most adorable and soon to be popular cloth diapers. October 18th marks the expo and release date to retailers. Keep watch for this highly sought after diaper and take a look at Tokijoy in detail below;
What an awesome collaboration! If you already love cloth diapers, then this print is a must have. If you are new to cloth diapers, but love Tokodoki, I imagine collecting an entire stash of this print will be a priority! With it’s bold colors and characters, this print is sure to please cloth diaper and Tokidoki fans alike. I have to say that it’s exciting in person and I love seeing it in our stash.
Rumparooz is a well know brand of pocket cloth diapers, and one product offered in a line of high quality goods from Kanga Care. Mom and Dad owners/inventors Julie and Chad created Rumparooz after the birth of their second daughter in 2006. She was sensitive to disposables (just like my babies) and these cloth diapers were designed and produced at the couple’s kitchen table. Rumparooz features a patented dual inner gusset and are made with care and detail. While the company now owns and sells many products, Rumparooz remains one of the most well known brands in the cloth diapering community. (1)
I have to admit that I was completely new to Tokidoki. After doing some research online, I quickly learned how huge the Tokidoki movement is. I have to call it a movement…because with everything from adult clothing, to a lillebaby carrier…it’s everywhere. While the company has it’s own stores and website, the products are on Amazon, in major department stores and can be found on many major brands. Fans have tattoos, dress up as the characters, attend events and collect everything you can imagine graced with the Tokidoki designs. So let’s look at this diaper!
Rumparooz are OS diapers and fit from approximately 6-35 lb babies, however like all cloth brands, true fit depends on each baby. Diapers come with a 6 hour microfiber soaker that can be adjusted in several ways. The larger insert can snap down to fit the smallest diaper setting and to increase absorbency in the front. As a Mom to all boys, I seriously appreciate this feature in an insert. I frequently change a diaper to find that it’s completely wet right in the front, and the back half is dry.
In addition to the large main insert, there is a second contoured insert that snaps on top. Snapping together the two inserts is a two step process. 1st, you fold over the main insert and snap it together. 2nd you snap on the contoured insert. Bam, 6 hour soaker! The snaps are hard to see in the photos (white on white), so I put arrows so you can see where it snaps together. Not a microfiber fan? For a few dollars more you can get hemp or bamboo. The longer I cloth diaper the more I appreciate natural fibers and I love that Rumparooz has this as an option! The natural fiber insert has the same shape and features, but is made from natural instead of synthetic fibers.
I'm in love with tokisweet and hope to own one of the covers!! RaR is one of my favorite double gusset covers. I was shocked to see the snaps collaborated too. Thanks for the review!

Great review and can't wait to try these out. I'm all for tokidoki anything, now I get to see it on my soon to be walking baby boy.

I have yet to try the diapers that have snap in inserts. They seem a bit more complicated than mine that just lay in the liner, but who knows. Maybe I'm missing something with these! They seem babysitter-friendly (if that's a thing)!!
The print is kinda crazy. My daughter would LOVE to see it on her baby brother haha.

These are really nice and I love their vibrant designs. Cloth diapers have really come a long way.
Those colors and graphics are stunning! I love how busy it all looks, and that it comes as a cloth diaper. The diapers we bought were not nearly as beautifully patterned as this one!

Those are really some of the cutest and most functional cloth diapers I've seen. Although I have no kids I would love to see the younger members of my family running around in this fabulous print!

Thanks for the great pics you've shared! I love the bright colours Tokidoki uses, and the snaps are adorable! I had some RaR in my stash that we loved when Kay was smaller. I bet these are going to go fast.
