How We Ditched Our Expensive Cable Bill and Still Watch Our Favorites!

How We Ditched Our Expensive Cable Bill and Still Watch Our Favorites – Google Chromecast

As a busy Mom of Four boys, I’m always looking for ways to save money and redirect funds for bills, groceries and fun events like trips to amusement parks and local attractions like the new aquarium in our area. One of the best decisions I made was in shutting off our cable services and switching to streaming devices. I’m no longer in sticker shock when I see our cable/internet bill and love seeing all our favorite shows for a fraction of the cost. Find out more below!

I have to look into getting this for our home. I love that it doesn’t take up too much space.

We are taking out our cable first of December. This came at a good time will check into this more

This looks like the wave of the future and if you can save at the same time is so amazing. I am a little behind the times with programming so i will look into this soon.

This is so great! I love the size of this. Other technology like this is clunky and takes up so much space. I love how small the Chromecast is.

I love my Chromecast. My 80-year-old mother can even use it with ease.

I need to try this out. I generally love Google products. I’ve been wanting to cancel our cable for years now so I might have to do it.

The Chromecast is amazing isn’t it – it can really connect you to some great ways to watch programmes and it is wonderful to hear that some people are finding it helps them cut ties with cable too!

These must be on everyone’s Christmas Wish List. Because in the past week I keep seeing there everywhere and before that I hadn’t even heard of them.

Hi Jeanette, You are right about cable bills being expensive. My techy son has been telling me for some time that he wants to try Google Chromecast, and now I know why. It sounds fantastic! I’m going to look into it!!

We got rid of cable, and I should definitely give this a try. It’s nice to have different options when it comes to what we watch on TV besides a cable service.

I love my Google Chromecast but we had a hard time ditching cable. My hubby missed watching live sports however I didn’t miss the crazy cable bill.

We just called Directv and canceled our subscription! I am thrilled that we will be saving money and I think Santa is going to put a couple of these in a stocking!

Thank goodness you won’t see a bill like that with Google Chromecast! This sounds like a good way to go.

Google Chromecast is a device that every family should have! This is our new favorite item.

Oh my goodness, I would have panicked seeing such a big bill! I’ve never heard of Google Chromecast. Sounds like the way to go!

I’m sure it wasn’t funny at the time, but the Mickey Mouse bill will make for good content in a wedding speech down the line. We cut the cord with cable and have been very happy. Love that Google has an option!
