Buttons Super Cover Review
Buttons Diapers were some of my favorite one-size diapers when my baby was smaller. In fact, they were one of the first one-size covers to fit my newborn! Many other one-size covers were too big, but these fit when he was truly a newborn. I was disappointed when he outgrew them and very excited to see Buttons release the Super Cover! Why? The Buttons Super Cover has all of the features of the original diaper, but it’s bigger! Check out our review of our sample here and comparison to the original cover:
The Buttons Super Cover is in a line of many companies who have recently released larger size diapers. The market is calling to cloth diaper newborns and far beyond and retailers are answering! As a Mom to all 9lb babies, who have soared past 20lbs by the time we reached 4-5 months, I’m thrilled.
Buttons diapers were one of the first one-size covers to fit my newborns primarily because they are smaller compared to many of my other one-sizes. While this was amazing for many months, I was disappointed when my baby outgrew them. Luckily, the Buttons super cover is now available and you can take a look at one in detail here!

I love the new prints and colors this comes in! What a great option for older babies! In addition to the Buttons Diapers inserts, you can use virtually anything with this cover. Pair with prefolds or flats for a super economical option and great fit both for baby and your budget.
I get a wonky fit in the front. This happens with the Best Bottom heavy wetter we tested also. However, unlike the BBHW, when I remove the inserts from the snap here the fit greatly improves. I get a great fit also with a prefold. While these inserts have been fully prepped, they might just need to be broken in more. I don’t quite have the answer yet but I have a stack of prefolds and Buttons Diapers inserts from our original cover stash that I’m rotating and testing!
