I love essential oils. Not only do they smell great, but the list of holistic properties is amazing. One of my favorites is lavender. It’s great in a sugar scrub, essential oil diffuser or simply in my cleaning solution. It’s perfect for so many uses! I’m excited to review this generously sized aVo Lavender oil and share it with you. At 4ml, this is the biggest bottle of lavender oil I’ve seen. The AvO Lavender oil is reasonably priced, steam distilled and smells great.

I love learning about essential oils. There are two main processes for extracting oils. One is steam distillation and the other is cold pressed. I had learned that cold pressing oils was the only way to have therapeutic qualities and e-mailed aVo about their oil, since it has both “steam distilled” and “therapeutic grade” in the description. The company maintains that it is both steam distilled and therapeutic grade, I’ll let you decide. Even if this isn’t therapeutic grade (due to being heated), it’s still an amazing price for an oil that’s great for making soap, bath scrub, candles, or anything else you can imagine. This giant 4ml bottle is at the same price my 1ml cold pressed bottle and after I replaced the lid with the dropper, just the tiny amount of oil on the lid left my kitchen smelling awesome for days. You can purchase it on Amazon where shipping is free for orders over $35 or you can get free 2-day shipping with any order as an Amazon Prime member.
