doTerra Kids Line Just Broke the Internet – How to Get Yours!

I nearly jumped for joy when I saw doTerra announce their kids line! The doTerra kids oil collection offers high-quality essential oil blends made just for kids. Currently, the doTerra kids line is available in a kit but will have individual oils available for purchase November 1st. The doTerra Kids collection is made with oils designed for kids and includes Calmer, Stronger, Thinker, Steady, Rescuer and Brave. More details below –

The doTerra kids collection is “the complete and ready-made “whole body” essential oil toolbox designed to empower caregivers to confidently care for the health and wellness of little ones. Formulated specifically for developing minds, bodies, and emotions, these essential oil blends feature unique combinations therapeutically balanced to provide powerful benefits while being gentle on delicate skin.” I could not have said that better myself!

While many of us already use essential oils with our families, this line is designed specifically for use with kids! Even the roller bottles are fun and colorful and made to target some of the daily struggles kids face growing, learning and navigating the world. I can’t wait to try the Thinker with my son who tends to daydream a bit while we’re doing math and sometimes loses focus during a soccer game when things are slow. I am excited to use Calmer with my 4-year-old sensory seeker who is always dancing and moving and sometimes restless. I can think of so many uses and can’t wait to try them al!

What’s in the doTerra Kids collection?

doTerra Kids Collection Contains:

  • Six unique 10mL roll-on blends
    • Thinker
      • Ingredients include  Vetiver, Peppermint, Clementine, and Rosemary in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. doTerra thinker is designed to be used “to promote a sense of clarity and alertness. Uplifting to the mood, use Thinker when experiencing
feelings of sadness or stress. Promote learning and support creativity by applying Thinker throughout study time.”
    • Calmer
      • Ingredients include Lavender, Cananga, Buddha Wood, and Roman Chamomile essential oils in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. doTerra Calmer is made to be used to promote quality and calm sleep, help diminish worry and reduce restlessness.
    • Stronger
      • Ingredients include Cedarwood, Litsea, Frankincense, and Rose in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. doTerra stronger is made to be used when skin is distressed “to help soothe and
comfort the skin while promoting a healthy appearance.” In addition to being used for skin irritation, “when environmental threats are high, use Stronger to promote feelings of wellness and vitality.”
    • Rescuer
      • Ingredients include Copaiba, Lavender, Spearmint, and Zanthoxylum essential oils in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. doTerra Rescuer is made to be used topically. It can be applied to legs after soccer practice or dance and to temples to “reduce feelings of tension” and massaged into the neck and shoulders to increase comfort.
    • Steady
      • Ingredients include Amyris, Balsam Fir, Coriander, and Magnolia in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. doTerra steady is made to be “calming to the skin and emotions, Steady can be used
during times of distress to quiet the mind and soothe the body.”
    • Brave
      • Ingredients include Wild Orange, Amyris, Osmanthus, and Cinnamon in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. Brave is made to be “used throughout the day to encourage tranquility and reduce feelings of occasional tension and anxiousness.”
  • Six silicone toppers with carabiners
  • Instructional flashcards
  • Carrying case with carabiner

To me, the question becomes…do I get the kit or wait for individual oils. I personally like the kit because I’m not sure how I would pick just one for my kids. I personally have to try an oil out a few times before I know how it’s best used with my body and feel as though I need to do the same with my children. I love using the doTerra breathe blend when they are stuffy or have a cold and I personally love past tense for my headaches and found that applying it right to my temples works the best for me. It’s also a better saving to get the whole kit than it is for me to purchase all of the oils individually.
