I am excited to try Eco Sprout laundry detergent with my family’s wash. Eco Sprout laundry detergent is powdered, has a great scent and is perfect or sensitive skin. Eco Sprout laundry detergent ingredients include; “Sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, natural water softeners, sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, natural & biodegradable surfactants. (Natural fragrance in scented formulas only)”

I’m sensitive to fragrance and have sensitive skin. I was sensitive before having my babies and since becoming pregnant, even months after delivery, I can’t stand strong scents. I am very pleased with the green tea scent. I couldn’t wait to smell this and when I opened this bag I was plesantly surprised. It’s lightly scented, not overpowering and you really have to sniff the laundry hard to find the fragrance. In fact, I accidentally got some in my mouth and to be honest, it doesn’t taste bad…but definitely shouldn’t be eaten.

When washing clothes I add 4-5 tbsp to the washer. It looks like a painfully tiny amount of detergent compared to the Tide-Free we use but has been performing well. I followed wash instructions from the Eco Sprout FAQ page. I’ve washed regulary laundry, bedding, and cloth diapers. Will I completely give up my Tide? No. I will however, add this to our routine and I really enjoy using it.
