Cloth Training Pants Bambinio Mio Review

Cloth training pants have been an important part of our gentle potty training routine. In fact,  I wish I had cloth trainers from the start. With my first son I used disposables that leaked, didn’t have a nice feel and were expensive. My next 3 children all have reusable cloth diapers and cloth trainers! Why? Unlike disposable potty training pants cloth trainers are washable, feel like regular underwear, are a one-time purchase and adorable!

I had the opportunity to try Bambino Mio cloth diapers with my baby and the training pants with my toddlers. We also tested Flip Training Pants and several other brands to compare. I found that the Bambino Mio trainers are one of the thinnest, best fitting and functioning light-leak trainers. In addition, they come in a variety of prints and solids for both boys and girls. See them below and shop my affiliates.

The first thing I noticed about the Bambino Mio cloth training pants was how thin they are. They are certainly the thinnest cloth trainer we’ve tried and the most similar to non-training underwear. Waterproof PUL is hidden between layers of cotton and prevents any light leaks from getting on clothing. While these are not for a full bladder accident, they do contain small leaks that happen on our way to the potty. They are easy to pull up and down and fit very well under clothing.

These cloth trainers are machine washable and can be tumble dried on low. They dry quickly and I like line-drying them indoors on a rack if I don’t want to use the dryer. They are available in sizes from 18-24 months (24-29 lbs), 2-3 years (24-35 lbs) and 3+ years (35+ lbs). Both of my 40-42 pound toddlers are trying the 3+ and have room to grow.

While cloth training pants are a great addition to any potty training routine, we also find that potty training books for kids are amazing. Make sure to give Bambino Mio a like on facebook and shop Bambino Mio on Amazon.

So glad you reviewed these! I’ve been looking at them over the past week. Our little one is pretty skinny and I’ve had trouble finding trainers that were smaller than a 2T/3T. So glad they have a 18M size! Excited to order some and try them out!

Thanks for this review I’m looking at different trainers as we are coming close to starting toilet training and just want to get a variety of different trainers.

Im glad you reviewed these! I am going to attempt potty training my daughter as soon as she i stable while walking. I would like her to be potty trained by the time we fly to europe (she’ll be 18 months) but that might be along shot!
