Prenatal Making You Gag? The Perfect Prenatal Vitamin Gag-Free

I’ve been taking prenatal vitamins for over 5 years for pregnancy, breastfeeding or both. I started taking one when I planned on conceiving my first son and haven’t stopped. I think I’ve tried them all. I’ve taken prescription vitamins, samples from my OB’s office, over the counter vitamins, things I ordered online and finally found the perfect product. New Chapter Prenatal multivitamins have to be the best vitamin for Pregnant and Nursing moms available. It’s a “whole food” vitamin that can even be taken on an empty stomach. Packed with a huge list of quality ingredients that go beyond traditional vitamin supplements, once you see what’s inside I know you’ll agree.

I first heard about New Chapter Prenatals from a fellow Mom at a breastfeeding support meeting. I was having a terrible time finding a vitamin that didn’t cause nausea, stomach discomfort, constipation and overall made me gag. Ugh, just the the thought of taking the other vitamins makes me feel sick. While I usually take them with food, New Chapter Prenatals can be taken on an empty stomach! Better yet, they don’t make me want to vomit when I look at them. Awesome, right? There’s are few worse things during pregnancy then nausea + taking a vitamin that causes nausea…which is why I love these!
At first I was skeptical of the ingredient list and I need 3 of these vitamins as compared to the single tablet my OB suggested. Why 3 tablets? New Chapter contains a Prenatal Herbal Blend (cultured media), a Breast Support Blend (sprouted seeds) and other great ingredients like organic carrot and alfalfa powder. On days when my diet gets really weird, like the jar of olives I had for dinner last night, I’m glad to know I’m getting my vitamins PLUS healthy supplements when I take these. The ingredient list is extensive compared to the vitamins my OB prescribes. New Chapter Prenatals contain cultured nutrients (including Folate, Iron and Vitamin D3), plus herb blends that benefit pregnant women, women who intend on becoming pregnant and nursing Moms. Check out the ingredients below.
Now to be honest I don’t remember to take my vitamin ever day, but I do take them consistently at least 4 days a week. I really should set a reminder on my phone. While New Chapter Prenatals aren’t 100% organic, it’s made with certified organic vegetables and herbs, and is Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten free and kosher. I usually purchase them from Amazon, where I get a giant bottle for an awesome price and free shipping.
New Chapter is a Vermont-based company founded in 1982. In addition to the Perfect Prenatal New Chapter makes a Men’s vitamin, Postnatal vitamin, Woman’s vitamin, Fish oil supplement and many other great products. Interesting! I didn't know anything else was available other than what was on the shelves in the stores. This looks like a good option.

WHOLE FOOD VITAMINS are the only vitamins that women should take. Ridiculous they can even sell the other synthetic crap and say its good for you. There is a reason its cheaper – its fake. I had a great midwife who taught me about whole food vitamins like these.

My OB told me to take childrens chewables. I also took mine at night so the iron wouldn't make me sick.
