Skin care is important to me. I jumped on the chance to try Foxbrim’s Vitamin C lotion because of all the wonderful things I have heard/read about Vitamin C for skincare. Vitamin C is known as a super ingredient that has multiple benefits for skin care. According to Dr. Oz, Vitamin C helps reverse compounded damages from lifestyle and environment. It’s also known for it’s role in reducing wrinkles by increasing collagen production and reducing age spots, which are essentially sun damage. (1) Who wouldn’t want to try it, right?!
I incorporated the Foxbrim Vitamin C lotion into my PM routine. I apply after cleansing with a vitamin C exfoliating cleanser, my current favorite is Alba organics Vitamin C cleansing gel, to my face/neck/upperchest area. I have been pleasantly surprised with the results. Despite the fact that the second ingredient is palm oil it doesn’t feel greasy at all! There is a very faint scent from that comes from it’s ingredients as there is no fragrance added.

    • Ingredients include: Organic Aloe Barbadensis (aloe vera), Isopropyl Palmitate (palm oil), Methysulfonylmethane (MSM), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Steearic Acid, Glyceryl Sterate, Organic Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower Oil), Butyrospermum Parki (Shea Buter), Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Johoba Oil), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Xanthun Gum, Organic Camellia Sinensis.(2)
    • Directions for use: Cleanse and tone skin prior to application. Apply serum as needed. Apply a dime size amount for even application on face. When applying, use circular and upward motions gently with your fingertips. Allow time to dry. Can be worn under makeup. Safe for daily use (both morning and night). (2)

While Dr. Oz reported that it can take some 2-4 weeks to see results, others need 6-8. I have just started using this cream and can’t wait for the benefits to start rolling in! As a busy (and often super tired) Mom, I can use all the help I can get! I love that the benefits come from natural ingredients here, an while this product does not contain sunscreen, it can certainly be worn under a day lotion with SPF. Downsides I can see may be the oil (I wish this was a more sustainable choice) as the product isn’t non-pore clogging, but as a person with sensitive skin I haven’t noticed an increase in clogged pores. I look forward to trying more products from their line and am excited for better skin!
As always…Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate a follow on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and love to network on Google and LinkedIn. Companies care about these numbers when deciding which bloggers to select to review products etc. So thank you for following!
