Some of my fondest childhood memories include playing with my favorite toys. That’s the thing about toys, they hold so many cherished memories that they take me back to a wonderful time, a time when playing was my job and spending an afternoon pretending was always on the agenda. Even as an adult, holding a toy that reminds me of these times brings a smile to my face and fills me with cheer. Now that I have my own children, I hope that they grow up with these memories and I hope that the toys I provide for them are just as special as the ones I remember.
If you’re searching for some nostalgia, then Provo Utah has the store for you. Blickenstaff’s is a vintage toy store with candy, costumes and books that are often not found in any big box stores. Two popular brands include Maileg, a french brand of unique toys, and Schleich brand imaginative figurines.
Blickenstaff’s proudly boasts “we’re bringing back the neighborhood toy store.” They carry everything you would imagine in a store filled with vintage toys, candy and feeling. Sign me up for the giant gumball machine!! They are hosting a #BringTraditionHome campaign because it’s their mission to help families create memories and strengthen relationships through tradition.
